The health of the community is our priority. Each year, our Community Benefit Report highlights our commitment to building a stronger and healthier community. Through our community outreach efforts, we are able to meet identified health needs, particularly in the vulnerable, uninsured and underserved communities. From screenings, medical research, health fairs, support groups and wellness activities, to educating future physicians, nurses and other health professionals, we are proud to be improving the lives of the individuals and communities we serve.

Community Needs Assessment

At Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital we aim to establish a tradition of assessing the health needs. This is done in order to provide residents with the opportunity to attain optimal health outcomes. In support of building a healthier community, the assessment helps: increase understanding regarding the health; build capacity through affiliated development and collaboration; and strengthen the role of the healthcare organizations as they work side-by-side to address community health needs. This is the first Community Health Needs Assessment for Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital. To ensure we are aligning our efforts already addressing community needs, we joined efforts with fellow not for profit healthcare organizations and local health departments to build upon a multi-hospital, public health department assessment to conduct the 2022 Community Health Needs Assessment.
