St. Petersburg, FL (June 16, 2021) – The Fort De Soto Trilogy draws some of the best triathletes to the Tampa Bay-area, and this summer, event organizer Integrity Multisport is partnering with Bayfront Health St. Petersburg to be the official medical team for the trio of races.
St. Petersburg, FL – (August 26, 2021) – Today St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman, Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Chief Financial Officer LaTasha Barnes and Andy Gardiner, sr. vice president, external affairs for Orlando Health announced a new initiative to help protect visitors to the St. Pete Pier from the dangerous effects of too much sun. The officials unveiled the first free permanent sunscreen dispensers, sponsored by Bayfront Health St. Petersburg. The sunscreen dispensers are located at four points on the St. Pete Pier – on the fishing deck, near the restrooms adjacent to the Discovery Center, across from the Spa Beach Bistro and near the stairs leading to Spa Beach, which is where the unveiling occurred.
St. Petersburg, FL – (September 24, 2021) – Bayfront Health St. Petersburg received three awards from the American Heart Association. The achievements recognize hospitals across the country for providing quality stroke care.
St. Petersburg, FL – (June 9, 2021) Bayfront Health St. Petersburg has filed for a permit to demolish the building currently located at 1800 66th Street, St. Petersburg. The four-acre site, which the hospital purchased in March, will become the location for the new Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital Emergency Room & Medical Pavilion – Crossroads. The facility will include a three-story, 42,000 square feet building with a 14,000 square feet emergency room located on the ground floor and space for future medical offices located on the second and third floors. The emergency room will include 12 exam rooms, including two resuscitation rooms, six areas where patients can comfortably wait for their results and an ambulance bay.
