The James Heart Center & Cardiac Care
With nearly half of all adults in the United States facing cardiac disease every year, there has never been a more imperative time to be at the forefront of cardiac care and innovation. The cardiology program at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital offers more cardiac testing and treatment space than any other provider in Pinellas County.
Within the James Heart Center, the cardiac catheterization laboratory offers a full array of the most current lifesaving procedures, diagnostics, and treatments. Advanced video integration systems allow our surgeons immediate access to imaging, lab results, and other vital information at the touch of a button.
Medical Pavilion & the Orlando Health Cancer Institute
Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital is honored to introduce a new oncology program in partnership with Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute. Offering services beginning in spring of 2025, multiple oncology specialists will offer expertise in the latest treatments and procedures in thoracic, lung, breast, skin cancer, and more.
Housed within the new state-of-the-art Medical Pavilion, services will include radiation treatments, laboratory services and outpatient oncology surgery.
Women’s Pavilion & the Women’s Health Fund
Featuring a comprehensive array of services for women of all ages, the Women’s Pavilion makes it easier for women to take charge of their own health. Opening in 2025, patients will find preventative screenings, bone density testing, medical services, outpatient surgical procedures, and more in one convenient location.
Trauma Center
At Pinellas County’s only trauma center, Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital is doubling the capacity of the ambulance bays to accommodate patients needing immediate treatment for traumatic injuries.
Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital has 24/7 coverage of general surgeons and specialties including orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, anesthesiology, emergency medicine, radiology, critical care providers, and more.
Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital Center for Women and Babies
From the moment our patients arrive arrive, we are committed to providing a comfortable experience while keeping the health and safety of our patients and their babies as top priorities. We offer one of only 13 state-approved Level III Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Centers, a delivery system designed to deliver optimal medical care to high-risk pregnant women and a full range of neonatal intensive care services.
Our perinatologists and neonatologists specialize in providing care for women with a high-risk pregnancy and for newborns with special health needs, such as a critical illness or low birth weight.
