Paid Vacation

  • Program Year 1 – 21 Days of Vacation (which include six annual holidays)

Licensure/Exam Fees Cost Reimbursements

Residents are reimbursed the cost of the application and activation fees for:

  • Florida state medical licensure (training and unrestricted license)
  • United States Medical Licensing Examination® (USMLE®) III examination fees (required for each resident by the end of the first year)

CME and Industry Membership Expenses

  • Program Year 1 – $2000
  • Program Year 2 – $3,000
  • Program Year 3 – $3,500
  • Chiefs – $3,500

Education and Travel

Residents are reimbursed for pre-approved educational travel expenses. Up to five additional paid days off per academic year are granted for pre-approved educational travel.

Moonlighting

Licensed residents may moonlight with the approval of the Program Director at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital or other approved care facilities.
