Why Bayfront: I chose Bayfront because of the location and the people. As a North Carolina native, I became quickly attached to the state of Florida during my four years of medical school and hoped to stay for residency. I enjoy being in close proximity to the beach for an oceanside run on a day off and the city of St Petersburg has great food and drink options to gather with friends as well. The pre-interview night at Bayfront was one of my favorites. Rather than the awkward Q & A sessions, they hosted a virtual game night to get to know the personality of the program while also answering applicants' questions. I was immediately drawn to how happy the residents were with the program. After spending time with the residents and exploring downtown St. Petersburg, there was nowhere else I could imagine training for FM residency. 

Hobbies: Running & Yoga, Boating, Cooking & Baking, Visiting Walt Disney World!, Spending time with family, friends, and my dog, Going to the Beach, Breweries, Live Music, Tampa Bay Sports!
