Dr. Prieto is the Assistant Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine with the Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program and is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. His areas of interest include ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis. Dr. Prieto is the current coordinator for resident research. Fluent in Spanish and English.
Dr. Prieto specializes in the care of the mother and fetus in high-risk pregnancies. He is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he also received a Master's in Public Health. He completed his residency in obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center-Houston at L.B.J. General Hospital, where he was named Outstanding Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and Magee-Women's Hospital.
