Dr. Fudge is a native Floridian, born and raised in St. Petersburg. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and attended the University of Florida, College of Medicine. In 2002 she completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, where she received numerous awards. Dr. Fudge was honored as outstanding resident of the year in her intern and chief years.
After residency, Dr. Fudge spent three years in private practice in St. Petersburg. From 2005-2012, she served as the Assistant Director of Women’s Services at Community Health Centers of Pinellas, Inc., a not-for-profit health organization. During this time, she was also a part-time faculty member supervising resident physician on labor and delivery. Dr. Fudge became a full- time faculty member in April 2012 and accepted the position of Assistant Program Director for the OB-GYN residency. Also, in 2012 she received a master’s degree in Health Administration in May from the University of South Florida College of Public Health.
Dr. Fudge is a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is currently an examiner for the American Board of OB-GYN. Her interests include obstetrics, office gynecology, benign gyn surgery and improving maternal health to decrease the gap in healthcare disparities in her community. In 2017, Dr. Fudge became the residency program director.
