Dr. Adam Brunson is a board-certified family and sports medicine physician at Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health. He has more than 20 years of experience, and his expertise includes:
- Musculoskeletal care
- Injury prevention
- Wellness and nutrition
- Hormone therapy
- Sports medicine
- Return-to-play protocols
Dr. Brunson works closely with patients to help them achieve their personal health goals through individualized treatment plans.
Dr. Brunson’s Training
Dr. Brunson graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he also received his medical degree. He completed a family practice residency at Morton Plant Mease Healthcare in Clearwater, where he served as chief resident in his final year, and a sports medicine fellowship at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg.
About Dr. Brunson
Dr. Brunson is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and he is board certified in family medicine with an added qualification in sports medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. His professional memberships include the Florida Medical Association and American Association of Professional Ringside Physicians.
Outside of work, Dr. Brunson enjoys soccer, exercising and perfecting his skills as a grill and pit master.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
