Natalia Garcia is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) with the Bayfront Health Weight Loss and Bariatric Surgery Institute in St. Petersburg. Also a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C), she has provided patient-centered care since 2006 and has extensive experience with:

  • Diagnostic screenings
  • Educating patients about health and wellness
  • Providing primary care
  • Relating knowledge of medications’ side effects
  • Evaluating lab results
  • Treating wounds
  • Managing chronic disease

Natalia’s Training

After receiving her nursing education at University of the Sacred Heart in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Natalia earned her master’s degree in nursing, family nurse practitioner track, from South University in Savannah, Georgia. She previously obtained her degree in medicine from the San Martin University Foundation in Colombia and worked as a general physician in that country.

Natalia believes in treating patients with compassion and empathy while analyzing their medical histories and test results to diagnose conditions and provide acute treatment.

She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed as an APRN and as a registered nurse in Florida. Natalia is fluent in English and Spanish.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.

The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.

Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:

  • The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
  • They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
  • They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
