Dr. Price’s Training
He earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry and master's degree in medical science and molecular medicine from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Dr. Price received his doctorate of osteopathy from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida. He completed general surgery residencies at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach and UF Health Jacksonville. He then completed fellowships in surgical critical care and trauma and acute care surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.

Dr. Price is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care by the American Board of Surgery. He is licensed as an osteopathic physician by the Florida Department of Health.
He has held research assistant positions when pursuing his undergraduate and master's degrees with USF's Department of Chemistry and Department of Public Health. His professional memberships include the American College of Surgeons and American Association for Surgery for Trauma.
Dr. Price has been published in numerous medical journals covering surgical procedures.
His teaching experience includes an anatomy fellowship at Nova Southeastern and course instruction for TraumaOne Flight Services’ annual competency training.
