Bio
Dr. Frederic Guerrier is a board-certified family medicine physician with Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health. He has served the St. Petersburg area for more than 40 years, and his expertise includes:
- Comprehensive family medicine care
- Preventive health and wellness exams
- Chronic disease management
- Acute illness and injury treatment
- Sports medicine and physicals
- Health education and counseling
- Immunizations and vaccinations
Dr. Guerrier provides culturally sensitive care to diverse patient populations.
Dr. Guerrier’s Training
Dr. Guerrier earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry at the University of Florida in Gainesville and received his medical degree from the University of Miami in Coral Gables. He completed a family medicine residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.
About Dr. Guerrier
Dr. Guerrier is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Family Physicians, Florida Academy of Family Physicians and Phi Delta Epsilon, an international medical fraternity.
He is committed to education and his community, serving more than 30 years as a clinical associate professor of family medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa and volunteering for more than 40 years with the St. Petersburg Free Clinic.
Dr. Guerrier’s numerous honors include 2019 Family Physician of the Year and Volunteer Exemplary Teacher of the Year by the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, Boundary Breaker in 2020 by the American Academy of Family Physicians, Pinellas County Physician of the Year, Patients’ Choice Award and multiple Best Doctors in America.
Outside of work, he enjoys tennis, soccer and community education initiatives.
Dr. Guerrier is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Creole.
