Janet Fiamingo is a certified advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) with Bayfront Health Medical Group Cardiovascular. Her specialty is acute/critical care with expertise including:
She spent nearly three decades working at Bayfront Medical Center with roles including nurse practitioner in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, cardiac services and case management.
After receiving her bachelor's degree in nursing from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, Janet earned a Master of Science in nursing (MSN), acute/critical care, from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
She is certified as a critical care registered nurse (CCRN) by the AACN Certification Corporation and is licensed as an APRN and registered nurse in Florida. Her professional memberships include the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and American Heart Association Council of Cardiovascular Nursing.
Janet was a founding member of the Tampa Bay Area Clinical Nurse Specialists, the Tampa Bay Area Critical Care Forum and the Critical Care Olympics. She has made professional presentations on topics such as cardiac events, stroke risk and organ dysfunction.
Janet has volunteered with the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida, Loaves & Fishes ministry and acted as a Eucharistic Minister for the homebound.
Outside of work, she likes to travel, visit museums and spend time with family.
