Jeffrey Stroud is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) with the Bayfront Health Digestive Health Institute Center for Advanced Endoscopy, Research and Education in St. Petersburg. He has a background in trauma, general surgery and nursing, and his skills include:
- Managing care for pre- and post-operative patients
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic lab tests such as radiographic imaging and electrocardiograms
- Diagnosing and managing common, acute and chronic health problems
- Providing patient education
Jeffrey also is a board-certified adult nurse practitioner (ANP-BC). He enjoys taking care of others and making a difference in their lives.
Jeffrey’s Training
Jeffrey received a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Regis University in Denver, where he graduated cum laude. He earned a Master of Science in nursing (MSN) at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. He also was an honors graduate of the Nurse Paralegal Studies program at Kaplan College in Boca Raton, Florida.

Jeffrey received a Best in Nursing award in 2017 from the American Health Council. He is board certified as an ANP-BC by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is licensed as a registered nurse and APRN in Florida.
He is a member of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Delta Epsilon Tau International Honor Society and the Society of Trauma Nurses.
Jeffrey is a U.S. Air Force veteran. Outside of work, he likes to travel, read and listen to music. He is a fitness enthusiast.
