Dr. Joseph Cozzolino is a board-certified family medicine physician with Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health. His expertise includes:
- Sports medicine
- Cryotherapy for dermatologic conditions
- Punch and shave biopsies
- Orthopedic joint injections
- Minor surgery
Dr. Cozzolino believes in providing compassionate and quality care.
Dr. Cozzolino’s Training
Dr. Cozzolino graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biology from Siena College in Loudonville, New York, and received his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. He completed a family medicine residency at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he served as chief resident in his final year. He also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of West Florida in Pensacola.
About Dr. Cozzolino
Dr. Cozzolino is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and certified by the American Academy of Physician Executives. He is licensed as a medical doctor by the Florida Department of Health.
His professional memberships include the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Physician Leaders, Florida Medical Association and Florida Academy of Family Physicians.
He served as a major in the U.S. Air Force running a family health clinic at Hurlburt Field Air Force Base in Okaloosa County, Florida.
Outside of work, Dr. Cozzolino enjoys spending time with family and golf.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
