Bio
Dr. Manjul Derasari is a fellowship-trained pain management physician with Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health. He focuses on diagnosing the underlying pathology of chronic pain to develop treatment plans for his patients, and his services include:
- Evaluation and treatment of complex chronic pain
- Fluoroscopic-guided nerve blocks
- Radiofrequency ablation
- Spinal cord stimulator trials and battery replacement
- Intrathecal baclofen pump implantation and management
- Epidural injections
- Medication management
Dr. Derasari has cared for patients in the Tampa Bay area for more than 20 years. He believes it is essential for patients to understand their diagnosis and treatment options, empowering them to participate actively in their own care to improve function and reduce pain intensity.
Dr. Derasari's Training
Dr. Derasari received his medical training at B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India, where he also studied orthopedics. He completed a surgical residency at Easton Hospital in Easton, Pennsylvania, and a hand surgery fellowship at Brookdale Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. His training continued with an anesthesiology residency and a pain management fellowship at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
About Dr. Derasari
Dr. Derasari is board certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Pain Medicine and American Society of Interventional Pain Specialists.
Outside of work, he enjoys volunteering, reading, hiking, exercising, gardening and cooking.
Dr. Derasari is fluent in English and Hindi.
