A board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, Marilyn Fudge, MD is the program director for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg. Born and raised in St. Petersburg, she joined the organization as a part-time faculty member supervising resident physicians on labor and delivery in 2005 and became a full-time faculty member in 2012. Her clinical interests include obstetrics, office gynecology and benign gynecological surgery.
Dr. Fudge earned a B.S. in microbiology and her medical degree from the University of Florida (Gainesville). She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, where she was honored as outstanding resident of the year in her intern and chief years. She later received a master’s in health administration from the University of South Florida College of Public Health (Tampa).
Dr. Fudge is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is an examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
