Dr. Nayana George is a board-certified gastroenterologist with Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute. She evaluates, diagnoses and treats a wide range of conditions affecting the digestive tract and gastrointestinal organs, and her expertise includes:

Dr. George’s Training
Dr. George received her medical training at Trivandrum Medical College in Kerala, India. She completed her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

Dr. George is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She participates in clinical research projects, and her professional memberships include the American College of Gastroenterology and American Gastroenterological Association.
Dr. George’s research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals on topics including the management of complications of inflammatory bowel disease, diabetes in cirrhosis patients and drug-induced liver disease.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, cooking, traveling and interior decorating. Dr. George is fluent in English, Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil.
