Bio
Nicole Birk is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) and certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) with Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health. She specializes in ear, nose and throat problems and her expertise includes:
- Chronic sinusitis
- Assisting in ENT surgeries
- Providing pre- and post-operative care
- Head and neck disorders
- Hearing loss and balance problems
- Performing physical exams
- Taking patient histories
- Ordering and evaluating lab tests
Nicole believes in building strong, trusting relationships with patients and making sure they feel heard and involved in their care decisions.
Nicole’s Training
Nicole earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Tampa in Florida, where she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She received her Master of Science in nursing (MSN) on the family nurse practitioner track from the University of Tampa and joined Phi Kappa Phi, an honor society for top graduate students.
About Nicole
Nicole is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board, and she is licensed as an APRN and registered nurse in Florida.
Nicole has several years of experience in pediatric surgery assistance. She was nominated for a DAISY Award, a global recognition for exceptional nurses.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys yoga, cooking and staying active.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
