Bio
Dr. Ramona Ilie is a board-certified general surgeon at Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health. She is trained in minimally invasive surgery, robotic-assisted surgery and advanced laparoscopic techniques, and her specialties include:
- Gastric pacer surgery
- Abdominal wall reconstruction
- Gallbladder, appendix and small bowel surgery

Dr. Ilie’s Training
Dr. Ilie received her medical training from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. She completed a general surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio and a minimally invasive surgery fellowship at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

Dr. Ilie is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and also holds certification on the da Vinci Surgical System. Her professional memberships include the American Hernia Society and Association of Women Surgeons.

The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
