Dr. Randhir Jesudoss is a board-certified hepatologist with the Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Digestive Health Institute. He has extensive training in diseases and conditions of the GI tract, advanced endoscopic procedures and hepatology, which focuses on the liver. His areas of expertise include:
- Endoscopy and colonoscopy
- Venous and arterial catheters
- Abdominal paracentesis
- Thoracentesis
- Liver biopsy
Dr. Jesudoss' Training
Dr. Jesudoss received his medical training from Madurai Medical College in Madurai, India. After moving to the United States, he completed a residency in internal medicine at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. His fellowship in transplant hepatology was performed at Temple University in Philadelphia.
About Dr. Jesudoss
While continuing to practice, Dr. Jesudoss taught for several years in the Department of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, where residents and fellows rotated through his GI and liver clinic. He also served as Medical Liver Transplant Director at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Iowa City. He has written several chapters for medical books and has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles.
Dr. Jesudoss is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Gastroenterology and American College of Physicians. He has practiced internationally and maintains his memberships in the Emirates Gastro Society of the United Arab Emirates and the Indian Society of Gastroenterology in India.
