Dr. Nagamia’s Training
Dr. Nagamia did his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami in Coral Gables and received his medical training from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He completed an internal medicine residency at Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York, where he was chief resident, and served as a research fellow in cardiovascular disease at Emory University in Atlanta. He completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Dr. Nagamia is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
His research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals.
Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, restoring classic cars, volunteering and using his hands to build anything.
Dr. Nagamia is fluent in English, Spanish, Hindi and Urdu.
