A board-certified family physician, Shacara Wilson, MD is an assistant director and a full-time faculty member of Bayfront Health St. Petersburg’s Family Medicine Residency Program. Her clinical interests are in performing outpatient procedures, outpatient gynecology, musculoskeletal, pediatric and geriatric care. She especially loves taking care of patients in the inpatient setting.
She studied at Florida Atlantic University for her undergrad education and completed her medical training at the University of Miami. She was awarded Outstanding Student in Family Medicine in her graduation year. Dr. Wilson performed her residency at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg. After seven years in private practice, Dr. Wilson returned to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg in 2020. She is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine.
