Dr. Figueroa-Nieves’ Training
He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at Washington University in St. Louis and received his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Figueroa-Nieves completed an internal medicine residency at Emory University-affiliated hospitals in Atlanta, where he served as chief resident in his final year.
