New Mural Installed in St. Petersburg’s Innovation District
St. Petersburg, FL (March 28, 2025) – Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital celebrated the installation of a new mural on its newly expanded ambulance bay, with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The ambulance bay, which went from accommodating four ambulances, can now safely hold up to 13 emergency transport vehicles at a time.

Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Committed to Increasing Access to Healthcare
St. Petersburg, FL – (June 9, 2021) Bayfront Health St. Petersburg has filed for a permit to demolish the building currently located at 1800 66th Street, St. Petersburg. The four-acre site, which the hospital purchased in March, will become the location for the new Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital Emergency Room & Medical Pavilion – Crossroads. The facility will include a three-story, 42,000 square feet building with a 14,000 square feet emergency room located on the ground floor and space for future medical offices located on the second and third floors. The emergency room will include 12 exam rooms, including two resuscitation rooms, six areas where patients can comfortably wait for their results and an ambulance bay.

Orlando Health Joins the HHS Perinatal Improvement Collaborative to Improve Outcomes for Mothers and Babies Across the Nation
Orlando, FL (November 8, 2021) -- Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies and Bayfront Health St. Petersburg are participating in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Perinatal Improvement Collaborative, a large-scale, data-driven collaborative of over 200 leading hospitals caring for diverse populations in all 50 states. The collaborative is overseen by the HHS Office on Women’s Health (OWH), using real-time data, analytics and performance improvement methodologies from Premier Inc.
